Binoculars

Here at Buzz Optics we make buying binoculars easy. We have a large assortment of binoculars ranging from compact pocket sized models, suitable for observing whilst on the move, to huge static models that are especially useful for astronomy. Whatever your interest or reason for buying a pair of binoculars, we are happy to help you choose the right pair for you.

Sport Optics

We tend to recommend the more compact sized binoculars for use as sport optics as the optical performance is secondary to the convenience of having them with you more often. However, if you tend to visit sporting events on a regular basis then perhaps a larger format would suit the brightness and clarity you require. Bear in mind that zooming into the action will cause the image to become darker. This will not usually be a problem during the day but may be more troublesome if the event runs on until late evening.

Monoculars

A monocular is a great choice for any nature or field studies where carrying a pair of binoculars is just not practical. Some monoculars also boast the ability to focus on objects that are less than 3 feet away, whilst others are capable of macroscopic observation of insects and plants. We stock a balanced selection of monoculars to suit every need.

Spotting Scopes

Spotting scopes are the "Big Boys" of the optical world. Essentially a telescope that has been designed primarily for day time use. Most spotting scopes require a tripod to get the best results, as high magnification instruments are very difficult to hold steady. We stock a wide range of spotting scopes to suit the beginner and experienced observer.

Bird Watching

Choosing optics for bird watching can seem like a daunting task when faced with the huge range of models and specifications available. Useful binoculars are usually limited to 6x32, 7x42, 8x40, and 10x42 or 10x50, but if you are looking for more power a tripod becomes a necessity.
