The Meade Star Navigator 102 Refractor Telescope will be all you'll ever need to launch you into the exciting hobby of astronomy! The Binocom Bresser 7x50 GAL/b Compass Binoculars is the budget brother of the Binocom 7x50 CLS.

The floatation strap is a nice idea but I'm not sure that you could realistically be able to navigate back to the point where your bins fell into the water with the hope of retrieving them. Still, the strap feels very comfortable to wear around the neck and should help reduce neck strain. These are after all a little on the heavy side at 1kg.

The sturdy waterproof construction of the binoculars inspires confidence. This is important if you do intend to take these out on the water as they need to put up with a moderate amount of punishment but then again the Binocom range have been designed with water sports in mind. As you would expect of binoculars, that need to travel far and wide, the rubber armoured body helps to protect against those inevitable knocks.

Optically they perform beautifully! With BaK-4 prisms and the glass to air optical surfaces being Multi Coated you are guaranteed high contrast and true colour images. The optical quality combined with the large 50mm objective lens allows this binocular to collect enough light to enable their use poor weather conditions.

The Binocom range are nitrogen purged to help prevent internal fogging and, as already mentioned, are waterproof. They also feature an internal illuminated compass.

The Binocom Gal/b binoculars are fixed focus which can be an advantage if your hands are cold and wet. Individual eyepiece dioptre adjustment and fold down eyecups, for spectacle wearers, complete this well rounded package.
