The size and design of these efficient binoculars seems suggest that they are for all seasons. The full body ergonomic rubber armouring allows for a comfortable ergonomic grip whilst the extra long centre focus wheel enables the observer to wear gloves during cold weather.

As we have come to expect, the optical quality of the Bresser Spezial Jagd 9x63 Roof Prism Binoculars compares favourably with similar models from other manufacturers. The BAK-4 prisms and fully multi coated glass to air surfaces mean that more light gets to your eye instead of clouding the image. These cannot be regarded as lightweight however and so are not really suitable for a long country walk. They are however a "jack of all trades" as they easily lend themselves to bird-watching, astronomical observation, sporting events as well as just taking in panoramic vistas. Some of the light gathering power may be wasted on the older observer but those with younger eyes will be able to make full use of the 7.0mm exit pupil diameter.

A typical drawback of the compact roof prism binoculars format is getting the maximum amount of light to your eye, but with BAK-4 prisms and fully multi coated optics you are assured of luminous and high contrast images. These binoculars have good eye relief and can be used by those who prefer to wear their spectacles as well as those who don't.
